What can your gift do?

Past support of DHM programs has meant:

  • more than $100,000 in scholarships to ministry students each year;
  • more than 5,000 volunteers of all ages have worked on 28 Disciples Volunteering projects since 1993;
  • Disciples Home Missions events–such as the Pre-National Convocation Christian Education Leadership Institute, Youth Ministry Event, Quadrennial Assembly and Children Welcome!–empower Disciples lay leaders to make a difference in their congregations;
  • strengthened congregations through small group Bible study and congregational evaluations.

Tax information

If you have ever considered giving an especially generous major gift to Disciples Home Missions or if you have thought about one day making a planned gift such as a gift annuity or charitable trust, this year may be the best year, tax-wise, to do something very special. We would be glad to help facilitate your desires.

Contact Lonna Owens if you wish to pursue this opportunity, and they will be glad, in the case of a potential planned or deferred gift, to work with you in coordination with the staff of the Christian Church Foundation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
