Cooperative efforts evolve between Virginia Region and DHM

The Virginia Region has just completed construction on a much needed office space in Lynchburg, Va.  For the past three years, DHM staffer, Kaye Edwards, has lived in Lynchburg and worked out of a home office.  Some informal conversations about ways regions and general offices could work more closely led to the region offering Edwards office space in the new building.

"I am excited and hopeful about this arrangement." said Edwards. "As we work together each day we can't help but come to better understand the challenges and opportunities of regional and general ministries."

Edwards is optimistic that this arrangement will spark many new creative ideas that can serve as a model of cooperative ministry for the whole denomination. See box on page 11 for Edwards' new contact information.
