International Day of Pancakes Breakfasts
Your International Day of Pancakes contributions are being put to work in 2008. Several areas across the nation have received this year's money to help children. The grants range from $5,000 to $12,000.
The approved projects for 2008 Pancake Grants included:

Disciples Men at First Christian Church, Huntsville, Ala.
$9,584
The grant will be used to renovate the existing South playground to meet the National Program for Playground Safety standards and ADA accessibility requirements for children with certain physical, development, cognitive and sensory disabilities.

Memorial Christian Church Men's Ministry, Rick Island, Ill.
$9,104
The grant will be used for a portable computer lab (10 laptops) and portable playground equipment (inflatable slide and kids castle bounce house and play tubes, ball pit and toddler table) for Discovery Land Children's Ministry.

CCSW Regional Disciples Men, Texas
$7,188.00.
The grant will be used for a new 30' X 40' building for the Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries, Bayveiw, Texas, and for counseling mothers and children.
All these projects provided Disciple Men a hands-on opportunity to help children and were sponsored by Regional, District/Area, or local church Men’s groups. What a wonderful ministry!
