VIII. Amendment Process
Amendments to these Policies and Criteria for
the Order of Ministry in the Christian Church (Disciples of
Christ) may be made by a two-thirds vote of the members
of the General Board of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
present and voting, providing such amendment shall have been
mailed to the members of the General Board of the Christian
Church (Disciples of Christ) at least 30 days prior to the time
of the vote.
Amendments to the Policies and Criteria for the Order of Ministry
in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) may also be amended
by a majority vote of the voting members of the General Assembly
present and voting, providing such amendment shall have been
regularly filed 180 days in advance of the meetings of the General
Assembly and circulated among the congregations and regions
60 days in advance of the General Assembly.
