Vision III draft: A re-vision theological
education
Goal: Ensuring to establish a Disciple-degree
granting Korean-language ministerial program at a Disciple seminary
or equivalent institution, and to establish a similar program for other
North American Pacific/Asians as needed. Working toward an exchange
program between Disciples seminaries in North America and Pacific/Asian
countries.

- Immediate Need:Seminary degree Korean language with Disciples
tag.
- Plan: A letter to initiate a process and outline a proposal
will be written to Division of Higher Education (DHE).

- Timeline: June 1, 2000 letter to DHE.
Goal 2: Working toward an exchange program between
Disciples seminaries in North American and Pacific/Asian countries.
- Objectives: Provide opportunities for visiting professors
to teach in U.S. seminaries Encourage mentoring with seminarians.
- Plan: NAPAD Executive Council sends letter of inquiry
to seminaries to see if exchange program currently exists
in seminaries (both domestic and international).
- Potential Partners: NAPAD Executive Council and Global
Ministries.
- Timeline: July 1, 2000: July 1, 2000.
