CCF Groups take the lead to stop racism

CCF's 101 Suggestions to STOP racism. You will need: large paper; markers/crayons; pencils; stapler.

  • If you have a large group, divide them into several smaller groups.
  • Have each group brainstorm a list of things that their church could do to STOP RACISM!
  • When the allotted time is up have the groups share the their lists with one another.
  • Eliminate duplicate ideas and keep going until the goal of 101 ideas is reached.
  • Illustrate the concept of the church stopping racism. Ask the group members, "What does a church that is working hard to STOP racism look like?"
  • Invite other groups in your church, or youth groups from other churches, to join this CCF effort.
  • Explore the possibility of publishing your 101 list and pictures in your church and regional news letters or The Disciple magazine. Send your list to The Division of Homeland Ministries.
